Miltown Malbay native David Rynne may be far from his hometown with the past few years but has clearly not forgotten his GAA background that was developed within the Miltown Malbay club. He is currently serving as Vice President of Wellington GAA club and is one of the primary drivers of Gaelic football within the New Zealand club. David played in goal at all levels for Miltown up to and including senior. Always a popular figure, rumour has it he is recruiting a Wellington XV selection to come to Hennessy Memorial Park for a game and is certainly trying to recruit a physical well built full forward targetman judging by the evidence below:
