Miltown's junior side continued their push for promotion from Division 5 with a comprehensive victory over St.Breckans in Miltown on Sunday.Despite a slow start the home side led at halftime on a scoreline of 1-8 to 0-3.Gerard Malone getting the miltown goal.A mini comeback from the visitors at the beginning of the second half triggered a strong response from Miltown with  further goals from Micheal Sexton and Enda Fox ensuring victory.

Despite  missing a number of players Miltown continued their recent revival with an impressive victory over Doonbeg in Shanahan\McNamara Park on Saturday evening.Trailing by three points at half time on a scoreline of 1 - 5 to 5 points Miltown produced a very strong controlled performance in the second half to outscore the home side by eight points to one.After a much improved display on all counts Miltown now prepare to welcome near neighbours Kilmurray Ibrickane to Hennessey Park next weekend.

Miltown U13s began their West Clare Championship with a hard fought victory over near neighbours Kilmurray Ibrickane in Miltown on Wednesday evening.Despite the concession of an early goal Miltown came back strongly and scored some very impressive points.A Zak Whelehan goal early in the second half gave Miltown a four point lead and despite being under immense pressure towards the end of the game Miltown defended well to win by a single point.

Miltown Juniors went down by a single point to St.Josephs Doora Barefield at a windswept Hennessy Park on Sunday evening.Playing with the aid of a strong wind in the first half Miltown went in at half time level at three points a piece after missing numerous scoring chances.Two early goals for Doora Barefield left Miltown with a huge battle on their hands and despite a strong comeback against the wind they eventually fell short by a single point.

Cusack Cup Win

Miltown 0-10 Barefield 0-5

Miltown put a run of poor results behind them on Saturday evening when they registered their first points of this years Cusack Cup campaign with victory over St.Josephs Doora Barefield . Miltown were the best side throughout the game and dominated a subdued Barefield side for long periods. Miltown led by 3 at half time 0-5 to 0-2 with scores from Eoin Curtin (0-3) and Des Molohan (0-2). Barefield closed the gap to 1 point early in the second half but Miltown saw out the game by 5 points with points from Graham Kelly, Des Molohan, Eoin Curtin and 2 fine points from Kevin Keavey. In fact the winning margin could have been more when a fine shot from the impressive Enda Fox struck the upright late in the game. A much improved performance from Miltown.

After three enthralling encounters N.Eoin\O'Currys defeated Miltown in Doonbeg on Wednesday evening.Both sides tried to play good attacking football in absolutely terrible conditions and went in level at half time on a scoreline of Miltown 0-5 to N.Eoin's 1-2.The second half proved tough for Miltown as N.Eoins superior physical strength began to tell and they went on to win by 6 points

Great credit must be given to the Miltown squad and management for their work and commitment throughout a long tough campaign.
