Doonbeg 1-13 Miltown 1-5

Despite only having 16 players Miltown made a game of this Junior Championship game in Quilty until 5 minutes form the end. David Murrihy opened the scoring with a free before Doonbeg scored 4 points unanswered, Declan Rynne got Miltown's second point after 20 minutes. Despite being second best for most of the half Miltown were only 6 points down at half time, 0-8 to 0-2.
Miltown were resurgent after the break, Robbie Healy scored from the penalty spot following a foul by John O'Neill on Padraig Queally. Further scores from Gerard Malone, Kieran Shannon and a 45 from Robbie Healy left the gap at 3, 0-11 to 1-5.
