Cusack Cup Win
Miltown 0-10 Barefield 0-5
Miltown put a run of poor results behind them on Saturday evening when they registered their first points of this years Cusack Cup campaign with victory over St.Josephs Doora Barefield . Miltown were the best side throughout the game and dominated a subdued Barefield side for long periods. Miltown led by 3 at half time 0-5 to 0-2 with scores from Eoin Curtin (0-3) and Des Molohan (0-2). Barefield closed the gap to 1 point early in the second half but Miltown saw out the game by 5 points with points from Graham Kelly, Des Molohan, Eoin Curtin and 2 fine points from Kevin Keavey. In fact the winning margin could have been more when a fine shot from the impressive Enda Fox struck the upright late in the game. A much improved performance from Miltown.
