Cusack Cup

Miltown 4-13 Ennistymon 1- 7

Miltown got their Cusack Cup campaign back on track with an emphatic victory over Ennistymon in Miltown on Saturday evening.An early Kieran Malone goal put Miltown in control and with the hosts on top in most positions it was only a matter of time before the scores started to flow.Six different players got on the score sheet before half time with points from Enda.Fox (2),Seanie Malone (2), Eoin Cleary, Eoin Curtin, and Darragh McDonagh ensuring Miltown went in ahead at the break on a scoreline of 1-7 to 0-5.
The second half proved to be a fruitful 30 minutes for the home team with scores coming thick and fast as Miltown's forwards and pulled the Ennistymon defence apart  and created numerous chances. Three more goals from Seanie Malone, Eoin Curtin and sub Gerard Malone along with points from Seanie Malone,Eoin Cleary (2) Micheal Malone,Joe Curtin and Eoin Curtin ensured an impressive victory with Ennistymons' goal proving only a consolation score.
