Seniors into Cusack Cup final

St. Josephs Miltown senior side have qualified for their first Cusack Cup division 1 final since 1997 following a dramatic 2-9 to 1-11 victory over Doonbeg on Sunday evening in Quilty. After a very even first half, the sides were level on a 1-3 to 0-6 scoreline. Eoin Curtin grabbed the goal early on after a great through pass from Enda Malone. The third quarter went score for score with the sides remaining deadlocked on a 1-6 to 0-9 scoreline.
