Seniors draw with Lissycasey

St. Josephs Miltown and Lissycasey played an entertaining 0-11 each draw in today's senior football relegation final. Miltown opened brightly but were unfortunate when Joe Hayes pulled of a fine save from an Eoin Curtin penalty. Miltown lead throughout the first half and lead 0-7 to 0-5 at the break. Lissycasey enjoyed the better of the first 20 minutes in the second half to edge ahead on a 0-9 to 0-8 scoreline. The last 10 minutes was very tense with Miltown missing some good chances before Gordon Kelly levelled in injury time.
