St. Josephs Miltown Junior side scored a very impressive battling 1-4 to 0-6 victory away to Cooraclare. Miltown led 1-4 to 0-2 at the break and defended excellently against the breeze in the second half to record their first win on the season. The scorers were as follows: Michael Hehir 0-3, Micheal Crehan 1-0 & Gerard Malone 0-1.
Miltown's junior side are under new management this season and it is hoped to build on this result for the remainder of the league.
