U12 League Division 2:

Round 1: Miltown 4-8 Kilmurry Ib 2-6

A really good start to the U12 league saw St.Joseph's over come Kilmurry in Quilty on 6th of April last. Miltown led at half time and managed to keep Kilmurry to 1 point in the second half. Miltowns goals came from Cian Mahoney (2), Ben Whelehan and Paul Keane.

Miltown Team: Sean Curtin, Evan Crowley, Darragh Flynn, Tadhg Flynn, Dylan Quinn, Ben Whelehan, Cillian O'Malley(C), Cormac Devitt, Paul Keane, Cian Mahoney, Shay Kilcullen. Subs: Mark Cunningham, Eoghan Cleary, Conal Meade, Andrew Skerritt, Liam Blake, Gavin Burke.

Round 2:  Shannon Gaels/Kilmihil 4-6 Miltown 3-3

Goals from Cian Mahoney (2) and Cormac Devitt were not enough to stop Miltown sufferring defeat in the 2nd round of the U12 league. In a close game which could have swung wither way, late scores for Shannon Gaels/Kilmihil proved decisive, as did the referees decision to disallow what appeared to be a legitimate goal from Paul Keane.

Division 5

Round 1: Shannon Gaels/Kilmihil 9-6 Miltown 6-4

Goals from Gavin Burke, Conal Meade and a super strike from corner forward Liam Blake, kept Miltown in the game until late on in the first division 5 game of the season. St. Joseph's had good performances from Andrew Skerrit, Rhys Whelehan and Harry Boyd in defence.
