O'Gorman Cup
Kilmurray Ibrickane recieved a walkover from Miltown in last weeks scheduled O'Gorman Cup game after Miltown believed that Kilmurray had requested a time change to facilitate players on both sides involved in soccer.
The game was fixed for 1200hrs in Miltown but on Friday evening a request was conveyed to Miltown management that the game be moved to 1430hrs. Miltown agreed but in what appears to have been a communications breakdown, Kilmurray obviously never got the message.
What resulted was that Kilmurray Ibrickane arrived at 1200hrs, as did the referee and with no sign of Miltown they got a walkover. Miltown arrived at what they believed to be the changed time but everyone else had left.
