Results update

It has been a busy few weeks for St. Josephs Miltown senior side with a number of games in both the O'Gorman and Cusack Cup. Miltown have recorded two victories in the past week to qualify for the O'Gorman Cup seni final for the first time since the competition was established. O'Currys were defeated on Tuesday evening by 0-14 to 0-7 and Kilrush were defeated on Saturday on a 4-9 to 2-6. The last two games in the Cusack Cup have both resulted in draws against Dooras Barefield (0-8 to 1-5) and Eire Og (1-8 to 1-8). This leaves Miltown joint top with Kilmurry Ibrickane on 8 points from 5 games played. It is likely that Miltown will need at least one point to guarantee a semi final spot from their remaining two games. The Junior A side also got back to winning ways last Sunday when defeating Wolftones on a 3-10 to 1-7 scoreline. A win against Shannon Gaels in their last remaining game would guarantee a semi final spot.
